Last week was pretty shitty.. getting fired from being a bartender, because of a bad grab-n-go customer review.. right when i started my shift apparently had a customer.. where i'm still filling the fridge first thing, had one... meh.

anyways, still employed just.. as a go-fer right now. hopefully the union could do something..
but if not, on August 15, i'll give them my 2 week notice as i start my 2 week vacation.

The day after find out this house is being sold.. so, going to have to move back in with my dad, and all the conflict that will inevitably bring about.

Today, interesting in itself.. got hit on by not one.. but two separate guys.. about 2 hours apart. I'd love it if i could get at least the same amount of interest out of chicks as i do from guys. Some reason, not the case... or maybe i do, but am just toooo oblivious.

anyways, to finish off my day, got caught in an elevator between floors for about 20 minutes. buzzed for help.. the person on the other side of the speaker kept asking if i was ok.. maybe in case i got claustrophobic. *shrugs*

Bought a new car... a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid.

Oh, At work, i've been using Ketchup Packets to entertain customers. Trivia Pursut on the back of them.. have 72. Have had my managers sudgest i get an actual one, and bring it to work, but that's going to have to wait till next month, cause all they have now is the 80s or.. on DVD or such gimmics. But next month they're having a new one come out.

Really, this song has me addicted. Heard it first at the end of Zero Punctuation Awsome Game Reviews. Their's one of them where it has the guy behind the rants, and i found sorta looked like Feli if the bun gets a haircut.

Anyways, i guess that's all for now... Seriously.. new car.

Seriously.. work is retarded. At some, as of yet undetermined day in the future.. unless they stall long enough that the appeal works... i'll be Suspended.

And why? what dispicable, and dasterly deed could this fox have done? what horrible an henus act? what act of insubotdination, bordering on company treason could i have preformed to deserve Suspencion?

i've told this to 10 people... reactions for 9 are exactly the same.. the exception being my union rep.

reaction: - "wait what?" having me repeat it to make sure they heard right followed by "that's just... retarded" the union rep had the same inicial reaction, but his secondary one was "oh that's bullshit!"

Which normally would make me hopefull on the appeal, but they've been trying to get my radio back since November 26th when i lost it and..... i'm still waiting.

Totally unrelated, but i wish they had more different reactions for the little fox mood thing.

Alright,

- Pretty tired from the laserquest. Though still prefer the one in laval over the one downtown, cause their's teams.. and bases.

- I love my day to day calander.. currently 296 days left of W. every day accompanied by an aburdity of his office.

- I miss my 3 day weekends.. it was nice. Seriously, i'm missing the appeal of a 5 day work week.. i mean.. i get more money, but just feel more run down.

- They need to be more clear on how to get the bracelettes for how to get playoff tickets.

- OMG, i've been so fucking enjoying Rock Band.. weither i'm drummer, singer, or guitar, or the best option.. rotating. ^.^ really enjoying it.

- Forgot the password for this and didn't want to reset it.. so i tried ever possible password i might have used.. none worked.

- Still pissed at Yahoo for changing my password on me, and then refusing to tell me what they changed it to.

- Not to be a Luddite or anything, but i don't see the attraction to having all the stuff on the phone so it's not just a phone, but also a camera, e-mail checker, portable IM thing, video recorder, mp3 player, and all the other BS. Why can't you just let the phone be a phone?

- Ever have the problem where you find yourself saying "maybe i have too many video games?" to the point where your not done any of them, cause your partway done about 2 dozen of them?.. need more focus.

Ok, not actually that tired yet. But first, to Srice, the one person who guessed st. pat's day. seams it's not going to be that long. Also, i'll be using the word a few times.. and the word retard i'm using is people who arn't mentally handicapped, but think at that level of intellegence out of ignorance, or whatever. Anyways, now for the actual post:

What the hell is wrong with people in positions of power? First, HMS Host bans facial hair, because... well.. ok, can't actually answer because since i have 9 theories, which include but not limited to

- Insulting Customers
- Retards
- Bets with another company
- Jelous Owners
- Monkeys

Next, the ADM (Airoport Du Montreal) decides to ban English Radio. Not english music mind you, for as supremisist as that would be, that's not it.. it's the radio. I could listen to a french station (once those shmucks give me back a radio) that plays english music. Soooo.. evidently, the rule is the commercials have to be in french. Because non-retards care about the language of commercials.

Now, ADM tells HMS that the bar has to be opened at 6 am every morning, and this has to be done at the latest of January 29th, 2008. When does ADM tell them this? why, January 28th, 2008 of course. Which, as many of you would probably guess.. isn't enough notice to higher someone full time. So what does that mean for everyone's lovable(perhaps), subby(definatly) Foxy? It means - starting today - every day this week i start at 6:30AM (because the first bus doesn't come by my house till 6:08, and i'm not walking, and they're too cheep to pay me back for a taxi) and finish at the usual time of between 8pm, and 10pm, plus any delays.

So, more then a bit ticked about that....... and i miscalculated the timing of the bus, which means i had half an hour to kill, so i'm posting here, why not? - And means tomarrow, i'll have 2 and a half hour, or 3 hour sleep instead of just a 2 hour or 2 and a half hour sleep. hurray.

Good day yesterday:
Spent with friends, played games, chatted (by which i mean listen to Diddy talk, and listen to his throught train go from WOW, to LOTR to Tolken himself, with a brief stop at C.S. Lewis, somehow getting to Hitchhiker's guide to teleporation) but just all around had a good time.

Don't mean to be mean, but how the hell does someone get lost in the driveway, and then not find the house. Specifically, Piro. (pyro?). How does that happen?

I don't know about the description of me as a boring drunk. Perhaps it's the alcohol affecting my memory, but i remember having quite a fun time. - And no, not talking about last night.

New bed for x-mas sooo.. this is my first new bed since i was 10. Had to distroy part of the basement's celing to get it down here, but it's good ^.^

Lastly, taking non-monitary bets on how long till i post again.

Well, well, well, Look who's back here

Just got back home from the Habs game (7-4 victory against Boston). Man o' man was that a good game, with a great feel to it. Atmosphere of tension and rivalry. Well, that win puts me at 3-1 for the year (sorry Twitch). Although after the game, waited around for the crowd to die down before heading to the escalator, and once there, stood waiting so waited to where i watch people go down, had people point at me going "it's robinson" followed by the chant "LAR-RY!! LAR-RY! LAR-RY" was awsome! ^.^ only time i've been happy to look the way i do in just a pair of days shy of a year.

In other news, interested in seeing those videos that Feli took from the Halloween bowl after party (last 7 shots on a night where i had 16.. and was pretty drunk at the end). Good fun had by... well at least me, hopefully others too. *gives a hug to Loopy for the ride home, then out for food, then back home and putting up with the drunk foxy.

WOOOOOooooo (that was a good woo).. well now let's see how long it takes before i post again.

Given how i sit in front of a computer almost every night, i'm amazed that i don't seam able to post when something happens.

anyways..

as of July 27.. i've had the weekends off ^.^

First was Anthrofest.. spent most of the time in the game room, organizing the non-video game parts.

Weekend after that was Otakuthon. Walked around, didn't watch any anime. *shrugs* oh well.. never got a schedual to work off of.

Then was a Melee in the park weekend. including the Star Wars version.

Past weekend was Loopy's Pool & BBQ. then saw a movie - Stardust.

Next weekend will be free, although the week i'll be at Feral. ^.^ 2 more work days till vacation!! (note song)

Leaving work a couple days ago, missed the bus, so figured i'd put my lotto ticket through the machine so i could get new ones for the comming week. Hand both tickets over with "replay them" Super 7 (grand prize.. whatever million.. think it was 2.5) first... spits out a "non gagnant" next the Jour do Paye (grand prize, a thousand bucks a week, every week, for the rest of whoever's life).. hear the bells "hey i won something" look over to it.. tilt head "that can't be right". The guy behind the counter "holy shit man, you won a thousand bucks" i ask for the ticket and the printout of the winning numbers which were "06, 11, 13, 16, 18, 31" my numbers: "06, 13, 16, 18, 25, 31" off by 1 number from the grand prize, but still.. not complaining on winning a grand. Only they don't have that kinda money there.. sooo.. going to try the lotto place at fairview on my next day off.. that or the bank.

oh Gods.. i get to go to a fur meet!! BOOYAKA!!

only negative aspect.. in the words of Loopy in responce to someone commenting on him looking a little burnt "i'm british.. it's what we do" and burn i did. face, neck, shoulders, arms, back, back of legs (really a pain behind the knee), and top of feet. Football catch, frizby catch.. would have played volleyball, but they changed 6 bucks, plus a 20 deposit.. which is beyond a rip.... Also, a thing called Swimmer's Ear. Which i get anytime i swim in anything other then an above ground pool.

O.O right right.. umm... there was Diddy, Tristan, Loopy, Twitchy, Feli, this sound so bad, but can't remember.. thinking Kelly.. or.. something like that.. Carrie.. but Feli's mate... sorry.. , Nox, Stripes, Moku, some new guy named Echo as in the dolphin.. and.. someone else who was new, but i don't recall the name, what with repeating ours often... and the long awaited return to Monfur of RavenWorks *applauds* Wooo!!

Fun at the beach... dug pretty deep holes actually.. connected mine and Diddy's with about a foot, maybe a foot and a half of sand above the connection point.

Then went to eat at Dunn's after the new pair left. Then to see Ratatouille... or however it's spelt. The Gourmet Rat one. Good movie.. then came back home.

Sooo happy i managed to get today off!

It certainly feels a whole lot emptier. Granted at this point it's been almost a week. But with Dave and Mel having moved out on sunday, it's been really quiet around here. Nice to be able to leave my door open without one of her cats using my bed as it's personal bathroom, because it doesn't like the litter box though. That, and don't have either of the two squatters around either. Mel's Dad who would use the couch as a bed for a couple days a month.. And Shawn who would stay here for 3 or 4 days a week. Only ones living here now are Rye and myself... and mom for her estimate of 4 or 5 days a month.

Although in a year, i'll have to move out and find an appartment, or condo. Preferably condo, given how that would be an investment rather then just money to not be kicked out on the street. But i digress.. the tranquility is nice. ^.^

My alternate at the bartending job (who works tues to fri).. well.. something happened and depending on which person i asked.. either quit, or wanted to get shifted to part time.. or whatever. Point is the weekday shift (and 4 shift schedule) is available. Today i applied for it. Hope i get it. Would mean i would get the all important sunday shift off, and once again return to active life in Monfur. Wooooo! Although with the later flights, it means that my current 5th day is essentially all overtime. ^.^

For the past 3 weeks my brother and myself have gone to the gym on wensdays (long then that, but for what's been happing, it's been 3 weeks) and no one wants to play us. We'd be lucky to get one doubles game for the entire time we're there. Just him and me in single matches. getting dull. We're getting better, but need to play against others to see how we match up.

About a month before Dave moves out (taking his) i get one. Checked online at Best Buy, they said that the one at fairview doesn't carry any. Figure i'll head to the back and check in anyways. There it was. Picked one up, and have one in the basement of the house now (my room).

Also this week, on Tues/Wens was in New Hampshire, giving my mom a hand in moving into an appartment in Lebenon. So she'll be in driving range for at least a few months.

Well, well. at long last a post from me. But given the current work situation, i have to talk to someone somehow, and figured i'd revive this. That plus prodding from my fur brother, since he restarted his. I'd actually say the second part has more to do with it then the first.

oh.. so much since the last post.

- went to San Francisco for a week (a few days after birthday), to visit my mom who was working their as a traveling nurse. Was nice enough, got weaponry, a 850 gig HD, a nice visit with my mom. Also the last time i've seen her as of.. this writing.
- got a job working, then at the second cup at the airport which started Nov. 20th. Now working at a bar at the airport.. Otherside of security, so unless your planning an international (non-us) trip, can't visit me at work. with a shift or two at the coffee place, cause i need more then 3 days (sat, sun, mon)
-hosted a NY party.. fun stuff
- managed to get a sunday off to join in the... while nice to see everyone.. too crowded LRP.

Sooo.. where do things stand now?

Got it, and as a bartender too ^.^ Although one of the company's policies is no facial hair except mustache.... i, honestly, still miss my goatee.

got some, but it's a rare day i get to see any
- Romantic Relationship?
Same as it's been since November 2001 - single, and i'd say looking, but too shy around people i don't know, when not around people i know......... and yes.. i'm aware of how pathetic that is, so skip any comments relating to the "that's just sad" type.
- Misc?
Roommates pretty good, although currently seam to have one that, originally was one night a week, but i didn't mind since he was being a type of trainer to help us (all the paying roomates) get in shape.. but now he does that once a week for a bit.. and stays 5 nights, every week. doesn't really work.. really a bum.. friendly bum to be sure.. but still a bum.

Got games i want to try out.. GAH!! Although enjoying the new 47in. LCD-HD TV ^.^ paper mario looks awsome on it. Anything looks awsome on it.. except the cable which looks .. well... pixilated.. should probably get HDcable for it.

That's all that comes to mind really... so.. hopefully will be posting again at least semi-regularly.

Well, had Wolfers over from about 3pm till about 1:30am .. and Loopyover from 7:30pm till the same leaving time. Played nintendo with Wolfers till about seven, at which point we went to McKibben's for food, met up with Loopy there. Ate, then came back to my place for games, played.. Grooaw!, Chocolate Factory, War of the Ring, and Risk 2210. Enjoyed all of them, except War of the Ring, which was way way too long to set up, and play.. we did 2 turns in about an hour and a half.

Long Overdue Return

well, well, well... look who finally showed back up.

O.O mid july, holy crap i have been gone too long

ok, so.. be doing this to the best of my defective memory

had the second, more populated Melee meet in late july. Beeken brought a rat, and.. someone brought a lizard. People enjoyed the deer steaks.

the weekend of August 11th.. was Anthrofest in Montreal... where, i spent the entire con, except for a few hours watching movies on sunday, in the game room of which i was in charge of in all but name. Had lots of fun, even if i missed the masquarade.

Pool Meet at Loopy's on the 19th.. august, games, pool.. weather held out long enough for the swimming. Of course had games.. and it took forever to get the food there.

And just like that we're into.. well.. last month

Starting off with a Fantastic, wet, feral. Rained every day, but one. Abriviated list, i got in Polar Bear Swim most days, rock climbing, both indoor and out, capture the flag, melee, lake swim (4th out of 9 going there 3 out of 4 returning, but managed to beat Dameron this year), dodgeball, the nightly games, and apparently enough other stuff to have done the most on my team (Water), which means i get up on the - small - stage and get my trophy, in water team mascot plushie form. It looks cool.

Went to an interesting lantern thing, i was half an hour late and made it in plenty of time.. Did get really nausious off of the fries that we had at the restaurant later though.

Went to the first day of Royal Con, the gaming con.. they were raffling off games, and i won one. Frag. Was going to go on the second day for half of it, then go to a birthday party, but apparently the party was at 2.. so.. went to that instead, for the full day. Or, that's what i had planned, but missed a pickup, cause i was in the back talking with other friends. Then just missed the first bus, then on the second bus, it went the wrong way, and avoided the stop. Got picked up, and go see the movie Bon cop, Bad cop or.. at least, saw the movie, after the first half hour. Was good. Happy b-Day Jen

And... that's about it. think i'm all caught up.

I'll try to every so often put down random thoughts at the very least.

oh, yea... as a responce to a comment made... last month.. Steph if you went to Ingleside, somewhere between '96 and '00, and was associated, or appart of what was called the GZA then, probably did know you. ^.^
